You are responsible for all of your activity in connection with using the booking system of the guided tour and event to be held in CLP Pulse. You further represent, warrant and undertake to the CLP Group that you shall not: (a) sell or resell any reservation of guided tour and event booked from or via the booking system in this website; (b) use the booking system in this website for commercial or competitive purposes, or for the purpose of making speculative, false or fraudulent reservations in anticipation of demand.

The booking system aims to provide instant confirmation for the reservations made, but the actual time required for confirmation may vary. You shall ensure that you have received your confirmation before attending your reservation.

The CLP Group will not be responsible for any damage incurred by you as a result of any delay, deletion, loss, diversion, alteration or corruption of any message either sent to or received from the CLP Group over the Internet.

Any software downloaded from this website is at your own discretion and risk. The CLP Group neither assumes nor accepts liability for any loss, damage (whether direct or indirect) howsoever caused, as a result of any computer virus, malware or harmful components or for any consequences that may arise from your use of this website and/or the downloading of any contents.

CLP Privacy Practices

Personal Data We Hold

There are several broad categories of personal data held by CLP:

Customer and App user records are kept for the purposes of providing services, facilities and goods; opening, maintaining and terminating accounts; purchasing electricity from customers, processing payments and billing; responding to and following up on customer inquiries, gaining an understanding of customers' energy needs, researching and developing products, conducting customer surveys and direct marketing activities.

Personnel records are kept for human resources administration purposes such as managing the recruitment, assessment interview, background check, hiring, payroll, appraisal and termination of personnel of CLP.

Contractor records are kept for the purposes of engaging, managing, monitoring and appraising our professional relationships with contractors and their staff who provide services to CLP.

Other records that contain personal data held by CLP include records of our business partners, officers, shareholders, visitors and members of the public, and other operational and administrative records that contain personal data.

We may provide you with additional privacy notices where we believe that it is appropriate to do so. Those additional notices supplement and should be read together with this Privacy Policy Statement.

CLP has legitimate interests in properly administering the services, facilities and goods it provides. In addition, our use of your personal data may be necessary for supplying you the said services, facilities and goods. Personal Data We Hold

Personal data held by CLP include information such as your name, contact number and email address which were collected from you directly.


Purpose of Collection

CLP will use the personal data you provided in the guided tour and event booking form for communicating with you and arranging the guided tour and/or other event that you booked.  Subject to your prior consent to do so, CLP may also use your personal data for informing you of CLP Pulse’s latest exhibitions, programmes and activities.

Photo taking and video filming may be held around the venue during the activities and the photos and videos may contain your image. CLP may use the photos and videos including but not limited to publicity on social media, websites and publications.

You are not required to provide the personal data requested. However, CLP may not be able to provide services to you (e.g. reserve booking for guided tours or events) unless you provide the personal data specified as “mandatory”.

 

Transfer of Personal Data

If necessary, CLP may transfer your personal data to third parties, including:

  • co-organisers that assist in executing the activities under this website;
  • service providers engaged by CLP for data verification, cloud service and email distribution, if necessary for any of the purposes stated above; and/ or
